How we generate a yield

The concept of generating yield in XI.Finance is as simple as possible - we use strategies in which there is no loss or it is minimized (supplying to money-markets, holding yield-bearing stablecoins or delta-neutral strategies with minimal Operational Risks for example).

We use strategies only for USDC collateral

All funds inside Vault are divided into three types:

1) Short-term strategies

These are highly liquid strategies, in which we keep most of the funds and which provide quick and convenient withdrawals from or deposits to USDi for our users

2) Medium-term strategies

Medium-term strategies provide higher returns, but often have small time locks (like for one week), so only a part of funds is allocated to this category of strategies

3) Long-term strategies

Long-term strategies provide even greater and more stable returns, but have rather large locks
